油氣分離器是油和氣分離開(kāi)來(lái)的一種裝置。

油氣分離元件是決定空壓機(jī)壓縮空氣品質(zhì)的關(guān)鍵部件，高質(zhì)量的油氣分離元件不僅可保證壓縮機(jī)的高效率工作，且濾芯壽命可達(dá)數(shù)千小時(shí)。從壓縮機(jī)頭出來(lái)的壓縮空氣夾帶大大小小的油滴。大油滴通過(guò)油氣分離罐時(shí)易分離，而小油滴（直徑1um以下懸浮油微粒）則必須通過(guò)油氣分離濾芯的微米及玻纖濾料層過(guò)濾。油微粒經(jīng)過(guò)濾材的擴(kuò)散作用，直接被濾材攔截以及慣性碰撞凝聚等機(jī)理，使壓縮空氣中的懸浮油微粒很快凝聚成大油滴，在重力作用下油集聚在油分芯底部，通過(guò)底部凹處回油管進(jìn)口返回機(jī)頭潤(rùn)滑油系統(tǒng)，從而使壓縮機(jī)排出更加純凈無(wú)油的壓縮空氣。壓縮空氣中的固體粒子經(jīng)過(guò)油分芯時(shí)滯留在過(guò)濾層中，這就導(dǎo)致了油分芯壓差（阻力）不斷增加。隨著油分芯使用時(shí)間增長(zhǎng)，當(dāng)油分芯壓差達(dá)到0.08到0.1Mpa時(shí)，濾芯必須更換，否則增加壓縮機(jī)運(yùn)行成本（耗電）。
